nururl experimental demo gateway

A nururl is a non-unique Reticulum URL: an experimental string containing a route hint, destination hash, and NomadNet page path.

This gateway tests a pinned NomadNet/rngit service over Reticulum: it can render the sample page to PDF, probe the route end to end, time each route mode, and open the pinned repository in a normal browser.

Route Monitor

Speed test for the selected Reticulum route cases: repeatedly plots seconds to NomadNet response, excluding PDF render, for up to 10 minutes.

Demo limits. PDF/probe mode only allows repoducible.net:57001, destination 8331ef3af688e4153234a5910608dc30, the index page, and the README blob. Browse Code uses the same destination but allows the pinned rngit repository pages needed for read-only code browsing; file downloads and other destinations stay blocked.

Route modes. TCP proves the full nururl route hint. Shared tests this host's normal rnsd. AutoInterface is the negative control. I2P-only is the positive isolation test through webvm.

Route hints. Case 1 uses a public DNS/TCP route hint to a route that may also be discoverable. Case 5 uses a Yggdrasil IPv6 route hint to a route that is deliberately not discoverable. Case 6 uses a bare NomadNet address through a configured Yggdrasil-only Shared Instance.

Yggdrasil route. The Yggdrasil listener is only the entry point. The gateway uses that route hint to enter Reticulum, then normal Reticulum routing carries the request to the NomadNet destination; the gateway does not need a separate route hint for the page server.

Discovery. Discovery can help other Reticulum nodes auto-connect only if their clients enable discovery/autoconnect, such as discover_interfaces = True and autoconnect_discovered_interfaces. A route hint does not depend on those settings.

Probe Route. Browser test for the selected route: fetches the page and reports path, Link, request, and render diagnostics.

Compare rnpath. Compares path discovery only: hops, next hop, and outgoing interface.

Route Monitor. Speed test that repeatedly fetches the NomadNet page through the route modes and plots response time without the PDF step.

Browse Code. Browser view for the pinned rngit repository. It renders NomadNet Micron with NomadNet's own parser, presents it as semantic HTML by default, and makes same-repository links clickable. Links outside the pinned destination and repo, and all file downloads, stay inert. Each click fetches over Reticulum via the selected route mode.
